
Has worked as an assistant photographer since 1975 and became professional in 1987. He has since founded "Camera Chiara" with a studio in Arezzo. He graduated from DAMS, school of Visual Art in Bologna, where it took photography courses by professor Italo Zannier. Roberto has had his work published in several magazines and books.
He spoke at the 2006 Förderkreis Porträt international convention in Willingen (Germany) with a audience of over 400 people.
Recently, Roberto was selected by Canon Europe to produce a video to advertise the eos 40D camera.

Roberto is currently putting own seminars and workshops in a new new project called
Camera Creativa, where he discusses many of his photographic techniques. His specialty is hand made black white wedding prints, done by using also old photographic processes.
